She turned away from him reluctantly. She wanted to keep staring at him. She wanted to memorize this moment. This night. No, it wasn't sweet lovemaking. But it was what she needed.

Not sweet loving making but...what was it? I'm hanging on your words.
ReplyDeleteInteresting snippet. I'm wondering where they are, what they're doing, and why it's "what she needed." Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting The Friday 56 every week.
That's a very grabbing title! Happy Friday :)
ReplyDeleteI think she really likes him a lot! Have a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice romance. I have this one to read too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Great excerpt! I got signed copies of this book and the prequel at BEA last week and met the author. Looking forward to starting them.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of the Harlequin series books in a long time though I did just pick a couple up. This one sounds pretty intense plus I've read some really great reviews for other Maisey Yates books. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what that special something was? Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a very intense read. Although I know the F56 is talking about something a bit more ... mature ( ;) ) I do agree that sometimes it's good to be a bit more intense with each other rather than just being all lovey-dovey. I want to be able to scream at someone without that meaning the end! Thanks for hosting :) I hope you have a great weekend!

He looks so angry on the cover!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it, what's happening? Now I need to know. Great tease Freda!
ReplyDeleteThat is just too romantic. Luv it. Would read it in a heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteHa! Great cliffhanger!
ReplyDeleteI need to read the free prequel before picking this up.
