Q Is For Quit

God save the queen. ~ The Sex Pistols
I love that song. I also love Queen Elizabeth. I have a photo of her on my office wall... no joke.
Let's quit that though to talk about something else.
Quitting.
We all do it. Somehow, someway.
I quit Brownies, Navy League and Karate.
I quit high school at 17, (pregnant of course).
Not all my quits were bad things though.... some were even better for my health.
I quit smoking almost 6 and a half years ago.
I quit taking cocaine, ecstasy, crystal meth, ketamine, heroin and many other drugs almost 14 and a half years ago.
I've quit numerous other things as well, but the gist is we're all quitters. It's just how long before we quit is the question.

What is something you have quit?

  4. I did a "quitting" post, also... but mine is quitting blogging so much! I'm not getting enough exercise, and being too sedentary! This past LONG winter did not help that at all. I've gained about 7 or 8 pounds... So, I'm taking a blogging break... Maybe not absolutely quitting, but definitely taking a break...

  8. My dog is called "Queen" in Spanish (Reina). How original I know, we didn't name her.

I "retired" from skiing. I love semantics.

I quit brownies too! They say kicked out, I say quit :)

Glad that your quitting means you'll be around with us for a long time yet.

REVIEW:
I sorta hated the beginning.
Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see.
It doesn't take long to get light though.
Thankfully.
Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too.
Sydney is badass and shows it throughout. Can you imagine what it would be like if everyone thought you were o…

REVIEW: I loved the whole series, but especially loved this season as it wrapped it all up.  There were a couple of moments that were so incredibly tragic, but also a couple moments where the most tragic things couldn't have happened to better people. Take Sussy for example. God, how I hated that woman through the whole show and couldn't wait for her to get what was coming to her. Did she get it here? You have to watch and see! This is the season where you will sit on the edge of your seat, waiting to see who will win the kingdom. Does your favorite character prevail above the others? MIne d…
