REVIEW:
This short story was a great introduction to Cinder and the beginning of her story as she knows it. Before this time she doesn't remember much. You learn right away that her step-mother is not keen on her being around, and see a beautiful friendship develop between Cinder and Peony, one of her new sisters. It definitely make you want to get on reading Cinder right away. Thankfully it is short enough that you can do just that.
