HOST Okay, I do this challenge every year. In the beginning, I completed it no problem. The last couple years though have been an issue. You can see my challenge for this year over here . I am doing better than last year though. I don't think I had any books read for the challenge at this point. This year I have one. Yup, you read that right. ONE. Seeing as how I am trekking up Mount Vancouver, I need to get it together. I have at least 35 more to go! The one book I completed is by Tricia Goyer. It was awesome, check my review out here . In this book you learn how to put Amish teachings into your daily life. Even if it's when you have your moment with God, who happens to be the only person in the book worth mentioning.  :-) So there is my checkpoint. Hopefully the next checkpoint I will be up the hill a little more.

mp3gratiss is a music and video search engine website that is based in Indonesia.  You can sign up for a free account, though you do not have to, and listen or watch whatever your heart desires. Having an account would be beneficial though for saving favorites and keeping track of what you watch. While watching the videos, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, there is some handy music suggestions relating to the videos you have been listening to at that time. I did a search for one of Iggy Azalea's tracks, My World. It listed every source available.There were versions I had not heard before, which was cool. You can even download the mp3 for free. No strings whatsoever, and you don't need to be signed in to get it either. That's the coolest part. Now, at the top of the site, on the home page, I noticed all these 'TV' buttons. I'm so glad that Spring has sprung and sledding season is over. At least in my nook of the world anyway. Other parts of Canada are not so lucky. INGREDIENTS 1 package of Beef Strips (stir-fry kind), cut in smaller pieces 1 large Carrot, peeled and sliced 2 Celery stalks, sliced 1 Onion, sliced 2 Baby Bok Choy, cut up 2 tsp salt 2 tsp pepper 2 containers of Beef Broth (I use the box kind) 1 & 1/2 c egg noodles METHOD Add all ingredients to your slowcooker/crock pot and cook on high 4 hours. Add egg noodles and cook for 1/2 hour more.  Sprinkle with fresh Parmigiano Cheese and serve with a Baguette. Serves 3-4

It rained yesterday and even this morning a little. The skies are still pretty threatening though. I don't mind the rain. I can still get around and not feel like it holds me back in any way. Snow, on the other hand, is not Freda-friendly. It's depressing, cold, piles so high you can't get around, and just plain sucks. I'm so glad Spring has finally sprung and pray the snow is done. It remains to be seen though with all this crazy weather we've been having. Global warming, yeah okay.... more like global snowing. Anyway, my R post is not about the rain, though it could be I have lots to say. No today I'm gonna discuss routine. Okay, maybe not this routine, but routine in general. I am the kind of girl that lives for routine. I know some people say monotony, but I say routine. I like knowing that my day is balanced, I know what to do and expect, and have set tasks to do. I prefer to ensure my daily tasks happen at the same time every day, like feeding
