Sally Hansen #CSMTKO

I received a new Influenster box this past week. The Sally Hansen Total Knock Out VoxBox. This is what arrived at my door, and was the first thing I saw upon opening....
What a mess! Something obviously broke!
I see the culprit! Looks like two might be salvageable though. All they need is to be cleaned off.
But this poor purple will never dance on my nails! I hope it enjoyed the box art!
I did not let it deter me though. I love polish and the blue-ish color and the red both appealed to me. First I cleaned up the blue-ish one cause blue is my favorite color. Then I could get my mani-on!
#540 Jaded is a stunner of a color! And it cleaned up nice.... just sayin'.... then off to paint I go.
This was after 2 coats! I have a natural french manicure so it can be a pain in the butt to hide with lighter shades. Still it looked nice and man it lasts long! Usually after I do the dishes once or maybe twice if I'm lucky, the polish starts to chip off. Not this stuff! After a few washes it still looked just done! I can't believe the durability of this polish and no top coat necessary. Just use this on a clean nail and your good to go! Easy!!
Not one of the best shades for my dark complexion either, but I love it anyway and will rock it. Like really who is gonna say, "Freda, you shouldn't wear that shade with your skin tone." No one, that's who!
Now onto the red one. My other favorite color.
#470 Red My Lips is one va-va-voom of a color! I love me some red and this shade is just the red I would go for!
Red always looks nice on a lady. At least I always thought so. And it goes well with my darker skin tone. This was 2 coats and it darkened to a crimson. I love it! I'm still rockin' it now actually!
Yup, this is my new favorite nail polish. Color and brand! It is worth pay a little more to not have to apply seven different things and not chip away after a day or two. Also it glides on smooth and leaves a glossy look that is highly appealing. I really love it!!
Even though one broke, and I couldn't get the inserts out to read, (you know how I love to read), I am still in love with the two polishes I got. This will be my go-to brand from here on out!

  1. I love the colours...shame that the purple didn't made it landing on your nails. xoxo

I only have until September 19th to get this book done. It's good though and I should be done in no time.

I'm also posting early for two reasons, 1; work, and 2; a review posting tomorrow. Watch for that!

Minestrone soup is one of my favorite soups that my mother-in-law makes, and since moving out of her home and into our own again, I need to figure out what went inside hers so I can make it myself. I'm happy to say I did get it, and the hubster says it is just like hers! That's a compliment!! So here is my rendition of my mother-in-law's soup.
