T Is For Two Things

I used to spend a lot of time on the train. Via Rail to be exact. My mom lives in Brockville and I in Hamilton, it was sometimes the best way to travel.
That is over now.
Via Rail has derailed too many times for my liking, and ironically always on the route I travel, that I am not touring to my mom's unless by car now.
Since this is about getting to know who Freda really is... wow it's weird typing in third person.... then I will tell you two more things I cannot live without.
Seriously I go slightly insane when I do....
Tim Hortons coffee.
I need an I.V. drip of this stuff.
Seriously. I have not gone a day without it in so long that I forget what my Tassimo and Keurig look like. Okay, not really, I have to look at them everyday, but you get the drift.
Even Bella tries snagging my goods.... maybe she wants to rrrrrrrrooolll up the rrrrrrrriiim to win. Either way, get lost Bella, this is mommy's poison!

The other love of my life, other than Vince, of course.

The Toronto Maple Leafs.
(Okay, this is the baby Leafs pictured, but most of them play on the major team now. So it counts!)
My favorite player is centered, #43. (or #13 in minors) Nazem Kadri.

He was recently demoted to the third line and I am not too happy about that, but we have a few new players on the team that are really shining. It helps that one of the new guys hoisted the Stanley Cup last season!
During the summer I am lost without the Leafs. They are the only sports team I follow religiously, and when they are in off-season, I have nothing to follow or watch on t.v. *sob* *sob*  I need to figure out a way to get the Leafs all year. I don't need all the teams, I don't follow all the teams, but if I could get the Leafs playing all year round..... life would be perfect then now wouldn't it?!

Ah, but a gal can dream can't she??

So tell me what you can't live without... and I mean besides the obvious: family, air, food, etc....

  1. Of course you can dream, that's one thing we do so well, right! I have to admit too, that secretly I just adore Thing 1 and Thing 2 and always get such a kick out of seeing random (usually children) wearing those little red outfits, and I always have to shout out, (really I do too) Thing 1 and Thing 2 !

  2. There is nothing like sitting outdoors in a little cafe drinking espresso doble with more sugar than should be legal, in Buenos Aires on a cool summer evening, listening to the bandolino inside and watching the people walk by on the sidewalk.

  3. I'm a hockey fan, too, but a NY Rangers fan. My favorite player is Henrik Lundqvist.

  4. Thanks for telling us about the two things you can't function with out...

There are too many things that I treasure through out my day but a nice cup of coffee in the morning definitely takes the cake!

Thanks for linking to the letter "T" - Terrific job!

Funny, heartwarming and visually stunning, The Grinch is fun for the whole family!

REVIEW:
Such great animation!
There was always something going on in this movie. Even though it was a story I have seen played out a million times and a million different ways, they all are different too. This had more of a story. It was very magical and is definitely fun for the whole family.
Want to point out, Max, the dog, stole the show for me. He is so adorable, even if animation. Such a good dog.
This is one of those Christmas movies that you really can enjoy all year round. It has enough laughs, fun and morals to be played anytime. Plus there is nothing wrong with Christmas cheer in February.
