#Giveaway & Review: The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden AND The Redemption of Callie & Kayden (#75 & #76)

For Kayden, suffering in silence was the only way to survive. If he was lucky, he could keep his head down, do as he was told, and make it through the day. But one night it seemed like his luck-and his life-might finally end . . . until an angel named Callie appeared just in time to rescue him.

Callie has never believed in luck. Not since her twelfth birthday when everything was taken from her. After the worst was over, she locked up her feelings and vowed never to tell anyone what happened. Now, six years later, she continues to struggle with the painful secret that threatens to consume her.

When fate lands Kayden and Callie at the same college, Kayden is determined to get to know the beautiful girl who changed his destiny. Quiet and reserved, Callie still fears letting anyone else into her world. But Kayden is certain that Callie has come back into his life for a reason. And the more he tries to be a part of her life, the more he realizes that, this time, it's Callie who needs to be saved.

Review:
Of all the spots to stop in, this story ended too abrupt for me. Thankfully I have the second book to continue or I'd be slightly irked.
That shows how good the story is that I was so lost in it that I hated to see it end.
So many emotions ran through me as I read.
I loved the romance between Callie and Kayden. You quickly learn how made for each other they are. The sensitive parts of the story pull on your heart strings, as you feel so much empathy for them and what they live through.
A few times I laughed out loud though.
Near the end I found myself thinking what a great film it would make. I even pondered who could make up the cast. It became that real at some point.
A ton of fun to read, even for a sensitive story at times. Now onto the next book!

4/5

The dark secret Kayden has kept hidden for years is finally out. Worse, he's facing charges for battery. The only way to clear his name is for Callie to speak up-something he'll never ask her to do. Instead, he'll do whatever he must to protect her . . . even if it means letting go of the only girl he's ever loved.

Callie knows Kayden is going back to his dark place and desperately wants to save him. But that means facing her greatest fear and admitting her own painful secrets aloud. The thought of breaking her silence terrifies her-but not as much as the thought of losing Kayden forever.

Deep in her heart, Callie knows the time has come for her and Kayden to forget the pain of the past. With the help of her friends Seth and Luke she makes a plan to show Kayden the life they could have. But can she convince him they can make a fresh start together-or is she already too late?

GIVEAWAY AT THE END FOR AN ECOPY!

Review:
Again I am irked by the abrupt ending, still, it was a good story. I loved that the ending was at least happy. Not Disney ending happy, but all the pieces fit together and it felt just right.
I am so glad Callie and Kayden got through their issues and did it together. They seem even more like the perfect couple after reading this one.
I am hoping and praying for a third book. Maybe in that one they will be getting married and starting a dysfunctional family of their own?! Wouldn't that be nice?!
Gotta say, Luke and Seth grew on me in this one. They became better characters, or maybe we just learned more about them in this story and it made the connection to them stronger, I don't know, but I became more enamored with them in this one.
The romance is still as hot as can be in this one, and romance fans are definitely going to feel the steam rolling off the pages!

REVIEW:
Such great animation!
There was always something going on in this movie. Even though it was a story I have seen played out a million times and a million different ways, they all are different too. This had more of a story. It was very magical and is definitely fun for the whole family.
Want to point out, Max, the dog, stole the show for me. He is so adorable, even if animation. Such a good dog.
This is one of those Christmas movies that you really can enjoy all year round. It has enough laughs, fun and morals to be played anytime. Plus there is nothing wrong with Christmas cheer in February.

REVIEW:
A superbly made movie!!
Seriously, the scenes were pretty phenomenal. It made for some pretty intense moments along the way. The space scenes were incredible. I loved how much real footage they used as well.
I thought I knew a lot about the moon landing of '69, though it was 8 years before my time. Even thought I knew a far amount about Neil Armstrong, but after watching this film, I realize I knew nothing at all. Had no idea he was up in the atmosphere so many times before the famous landing, but alas, he was. It really was a wonderful depiction of such an iconic event.
I also didn't know he had suffered such loss. It seemed …
