Debuting on Blu-ray and DVD August 27
From creator Kurt Sutter comes the adrenaline-charged Sons of Anarchy, featuring extended episodes and kicking into high gear with its biggest, most explosive season ever! As SAMCRO’s new president, Jax is surrounded by ruthless enemies and gut-wrenching betrayal. With Gemma fighting for control of the family and a bloodthirsty Clay out for revenge, Jax finds himself haunted by the sins of his past. Alliances are forged, friends are murdered, and loyalties are put to the ultimate test. Now, with the truth in sight, Jax must do whatever it takes to secure the legacy of brotherhood and protect his family --- even if it costs him everything.
Maggie Siff plays Tara Knowles Teller on Sons of Anarchy. She has her own style and it shows on her character as well. Here is how you can get the same look.
For her signature look, Tara typically wears tight jeans, a tank top, and some high heels. Her look seems to say “I barely tried, but I still somehow look sexy.” To master this laid-back feel, pick a top that shows only a little cleavage and jeans that perfectly hug your curves. When picking your jewelry, stick to a simple, delicate necklace and some stud earrings. If you want to spice it up a bit, throw on a denim or leather jacket on top.
The Hair
To get Tara’s perfectly tousled tresses go for a cut that hits right below the shoulders with shorter layers and wispy bangs about an inch above the brow. For her messy waves, take a large barrel curling iron to your hair without too much effort and separate the curls with your fingers. The brunette beauty has also mastered the messy half-back style. In order to re-create this look, keep your bangs and a few curly pieces along your face down then pink back the remaining top layers from near the face.
The Makeup
In season 5, we see a bit of a change in Tara and it is reflecting in her makeup. Although she still wears pretty natural makeup, you can see that a touch of darker eyeliner can definitely change your look. Sweep on some black mascara, brown eye shadow and dark eye liner. For your lips, you can use a bit of lipstick with brown undertones. For a Tara-inspired look, you won’t need any bronzer or blush.
The Shoes
High heels are a perfect pair with your Tara look. You can throw on some heeled boots over your skinny jeans or simply add some pumps to top the look off. No matter what you do, walk with confidence! Tara’s confidence is one of the largest reasons why she looks so fantastic.
So will you try this look, or elements of it?
no, but interesting look
ReplyDeleteI only wish I looked as good as Tara! This is my absolute favorite show.
ReplyDeleteWhere can I buy her brown leather handbag seen in S1 and S6? What brand is it??
ReplyDeleteThat I couldn't tell you, I just do not know. Sorry.
DeleteIt took my forever to find it too, but I believe its Lucky Brand "Whipstitch Leather Hobo"
DeleteYep. Ebay or Poshmark.
DeleteI'd also like to find the navy blue one (purse) she has at the end of Season 4/Season 5.
ReplyDeleteI've found alot of her clothing is either Free People or Express brands. (I have 2 shirts, 2 jackets, & the tan Theory dress she wore for the "miscarriage" scene.)
Found the Navy blue bag. Tylie Malibu. Now, if I could just find the gray corduroy jacket she wears in seasons 1,2&3...
