Review:
Awesome animation!
Even the hubby said that is what he liked about the movie, the realism.
I enjoyed this fun action adventure. It was different and not what I expected at all, but that was a good thing. The story was so cute, loved it!
I just don't think small kids should see it and totally understand the PG rating. You'd think it was a light-hearted family movie, but it has tons of fighting and violent scenes. Maybe not the best thing to have your small one watching. I'd even be selective to tweens who have a habit of acting out.
Older kids and adults will really get a kick out of it though.

  3. Thanks for the review. I'm surprised at the PG rating. It's good to know it might not be the movie for a young child.

  5. Sounds terrific! I am a tad bummed that younger kids should not watch it. I'll make mine wait a few years :-)

  6. I don't have kids but I still enjoy animated movies! Sometimes they have humour or references that are obviously directed at adults so I don't think I'm the only grown up who watches kid's movies! Right?

REVIEW: It was weird starting off with a He-Man lookalike, Thunder the Barabarian), until I realized a character from the film was watching the cartoon in the airplane. Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although

Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see. It doesn't take long to get light though. Thankfully. Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too. Sydney is badass and shows it throughout. Can you imagine what it would
