I narrowed my eyes to slits. I grew up in a pretty gritty neighborhood in Queens. I'm accustomed to dealing with tough Latina bitches and was not intimidated by Veronica's nonsense.

    Very interesting Friday 56! It reminds me of some movies that I saw a long time ago, this "pretty gritty neighborhood".
