Back To School $1000 Visa GC Giveaway

Welcome to the Back to School Blast!

Getting your family prepared to head back to school, can be difficult especially after a long, fun-filled summer. Here are a few of our favorite Back to School Tips to help you along the way.
1. Back-to-School Supplies Checklist - Backpack? Check. Pencils? Check. Safety scissors? Not Yet. Use the same checklist each time you head out to grab supplies, to keep track of what you have already purchased and the things you still need to. These are also handy if you have more than one child. Simply print 2, 3, 4 list and add their name to the top.

Freda's Voice back to school tips include getting into routine before summer ends. Start getting your kids to bed on the routine that works for school days at least a week before school starts back up. That ensures you won't have such a hard time getting into the swing of things when it resumes.
We also think purchasing school supplies with your child or children helps get them excited about going back to school. As well as getting your child to help prepare things the night before like lunches and getting backpacks ready.
Lastly, for the older kids or teens, keep a positive attitude and encourage them to keep an open line of communication open. High school is a lot harder and more stressful, so having them know to be vocal when they need be is very important. Having them make their own lunches and prepare their own things shows them responsibility and allows them to take their own reins, giving them confidence.

The Back to School Blast was organized by Mom Powered Media.
