I sleep horribly for half the night, tossing and turning, like the princess sleeping on a pea. Only I am far from a princess and the pea is my guilty conscience.
i like the analogy and the explanation in that sentence! happy Friday Freda and have a great weekend ahead! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I like that excerpt! She slept like I did...and I'm not a princess either!
ReplyDeleteGood one! I can relate to not sleeping well sometimes but not from a guilty conscience. Probably from too much Greek food! :=) Have a great weekend, Freda.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! Sadly, in my case, books are scarce in my house, so I'd really have to work for this one.
ReplyDeleteI really like that one. A guilty conscience can make for a very bad night.
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought of equating my guilty conscience to a pea! :) interesting!
