Review:
At the start of this new year, one of my resolutions was to use this book to stay fit. Yes, you heard me right. I'm not a very big girl, and also have type 2 diabetes, so keeping fit and trim is ideal for my disease. Having an overactive thyroid helps, but on medication, it takes good old fashioned hard work to keep in shape. That and eating properly.
This book is not for beginners though. You have to be active to pass the tests in the front of the book, this is how I figured out that I am fit, but not to the level I thought. I still passed and was able to workout with this book, that also comes with a dvd.
The workouts are tough. You look through the book thinking they're easy enough, until you get down to it. They're not as easy as they look, but they are do-able! I tell you, the way I feel afterward is not tired, but refreshed and regenerized. I definitely notice a difference in my stability, shape and strength too. And in only under two weeks.
This is definitely going to stay my regime through the end of the year.
