"Maybe tomorrow Agatha or Gwendolyn will leave some milk in their porridge bowls and I can give you a treat." He rubbed against her side. "Speaking of treats, I'm dying of thirst." Max twisted on the bed and pawed at the burlap sack. "Yes, I know I should practice." She put her hands on her hips. "Is it too much to ask if I have a small sip of water first?"
