BBAW: Day Three: What Does Book Blogging Mean To Me

Wednesday: What does book blogging mean to you?

 Hi readers and bloggers!
What a loaded question today... it's like asking what is the meaning of life.... well, let me tackle it best I can.

Book blogging started out as a way I could get books. Yeah, I was financially burdened enough to stoop that low, but I kept my promises and always turned over a review, even if the book stunk. Then as I started blogging more, I started getting comments and meeting other bloggers. We shared a mutual love of books, and some of us even have the same kind of attitude in our writing, so a sense of community started to form. Well, the social butterfly in me went wild! A network of people and we all like the same thing! Unfathomable! This was something I could have never imagined in my wildest dreams.... and yet, 3 years, and 201102 Page Views later, here we are.  Funny how things work out!

So now I admit, I am not just a book blogger anymore, but books will forever be my number one love and main topic on here. I do like lots of other things, so hence the fashion, tv, movie, music, and whatever else I can review on here. I like to put my opinion forth, good or bad, and see how you guys react. Do you agree, do you disagree, do you have a different opinion all together?? All these things help people live, work or play, and isn't that what it should be about?! I don't know... maybe now I'm rambling... but this is what you get for off the cuff. This is the "true grit" of me and my blogging.

  1. aw, I love your honesty! I think the allure of free books is definitely there for everyone. I'm so glad you are still enjoying the blogging, though!

  2. I think you should be true to yourself first and foremost. It sounds like you are doing just that here. :-)

  3. When I first started blogging, I did it to keep track of things that happened in my life. Ya know, sometimes I forget some of the little things and I figured it would be like a diary. Since then, it's taken on a life of it's own, but I love it.

Illumination and Universal Pictures present The Grinch, based on Dr. Seuss' beloved classic. The Grinch tells the story of a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl’s generous spirit. Funny, heartwarming and visually stunning, The Grinch is fun for the whole family!

REVIEW:
Such great animation!
There was always something going on in this movie. Even though it was a story I have seen played out a million times and a million different ways, they all are different too. This had more of a story. It was very magical and is definitely fun for the whole family.
Want to point out, Max, the dog, stole the show for me. He is so adorable, even if animation. Such a good dog.
This is one of those Christmas movies that you really can enjoy all year round. It has enough laughs, fun and morals to be played anytime. Plus there is nothing wrong with Christmas cheer in February.

The most wonderful time of the year is back, (a little early)! It's Christmas in July!! You too can celebrate with a wonderful gift right here. UglyChristmasSweater.com has the funniest, traditional and branded goodies on the planet! Here is a sneak peek at a couple of things I personally love on their site.

Last year, I reviewed one of the sweaters. You can view that post here. It is easily my favorite holiday sweater. It's so warm and I love the quality of it. This year, I was asked if I wanted a onesie or pajamas to check out. You know I had to jump at the chance, knowing what great quality clothing they have.

I got the Grinch on my onesie! I got an extra large size, and before you go crazy knowing that is big for me, I don't like my pjs to be tight and constricting. I always go a size up on my night clothes. I must have been traumatized in a past life.... These Grinch pajamas are soooooo soft and comfortable. The best part is that it's A/C season so I can actually wher…
