Celebrate Mother’s Day with a free eBook

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I wanted to get in touch on behalf of The Amazing People Club® about a promotion we are offering to tie in with the occasion. We are currently actively looking for partners with whom we can work. I believe that our content would be a great fit for your organization. We are an international digitally-based publishing company distributed by The Hachette Book Group (HBG) - a leading trade publisher based in New York.

We have some extremely exciting promotions that change on a monthly basis. With the approach of Mothers Day this May, I wanted to draw your attention to this special promotion. Having spent some time on your excellent website, we felt that your followers would be interested in the books and audios we publish. We would love to CELEBRATE this very fine occasion with you and have developed an exclusive new eBook called Amazing Mothers:

MAY – MOTHERS DAY – We are offering a FREE short story eBook to partnering organizations. The eBook is titled Amazing Mothers and features the life stories of Lillian Gilbreth (USA) and Susannah Holmes (Australia). Two founding mothers in their own right, who were Amazing Mothers and led inspirational lives.

The books and audios in our series bring readers ‘face to face’ with many of the world’s most inspiring and influential characters from the fields of art, science, music, politics, medicine and business and many more. All the stories in the series are revealed through our unique and patented BioView® format; a newly-developed concept in storytelling that combines biography with virtual interview. The lives of amazing people can be explored through their achievements, challenges and experiences in a very personal way. The unique format and flow enables each person’s story to come alive, as if it is being personally told to you, reflecting their interests, emotions and passions. Our mission is to provide stories that will inspire, educate and entertain.

In the longer term, The Amazing People Club could also support or sponsor your organization by offering audio stories, hard copy books, e-books, article submissions and editorials, etc. to tie in with specific events. For example, for International Women’s Day in March this year, we partnered with the WIN and IWD organizations and offered a free eBook for download via their website.

The following information tells you a bit more about who we are and what we do, however, I would particularly like to point out The Amazing Women’s series to your organization. I have included more information on this series for your perusal.

The Amazing People Club – who are we?

Our team is international and our structure is based on a co-venture model, where we link with organizations that have strengths in areas complementary to our own. Dr. Charles Margerison created the Amazing People Club in 2006. His vision was to create a new way of learning about people who have changed our world and inspired others with their achievements. He has a wide experience in publishing and is the co-founder of Team Management Systems and Emerald, the world’s leading publisher of management journals.

Educational and entertaining, The Amazing People Club® makes the lives of a huge range of amazing people accessible like never before. We believe that one of the greatest strengths of the Collection is its range and diversity. Our audience consists of people who are determined to make the best of their time and are interested in learning about many people that made their mark.

Whatever your profession or interest, within our library, there are stories that will speak to everyone in some way. The unique BioView® format makes the stories accessible and engaging, whether you are sixteen or sixty. You can gain a clear overview of our series at .

Women.jpgThe Amazing Women Series

The Amazing Women series from the Amazing People Club offers inspiration and a new way to celebrate women around the world.” Today, more and more women become doctors, politicians, entrepreneurs, scientists, financial advisers, and take on other roles outside the home. This, of course, has certainly not always been the case. The women in our ‘Club’ were trailblazers. Their stories are a source of inspiration and are revealed through our BioView format. Each story is a biography – a virtual interview – reflecting the life story of an amazing person. It offers an interesting and easy way to learn from those who have made major contributions to our world. Discover how these amazing women lived, loved and worked in their own distinct ways. We can learn key lessons from each one of them. In particular, their achievements were a result of their determination to continue on, regardless of how difficult the journey. They believed in what they had to offer, and used their time well. Here is a snippet from one of them:-

Florence Nightingale

From the age of 17, I knew my destiny lay with many men

I said ‘no’ to the proposals of marriage that I received

I felt strongly that my role in life was to help others

Beyond my education in Latin, Greek, German, French and Italian

My first name came from the city of Florence in Italy

That is where I was born

My parents came from a well endowed English family

In 1837, “God spoke to me and called me to his service”

They were disappointed and upset when I chose to be a nurse.

As some of you may know, I love taking photos. Photography is a hobby of mine, but I often add some of my work to my walls. Recently, I was contacted by Canvas Champ, a company dedicated to making your photos come to life on canvas prints.

Since I had recently moved, the first thing to do was to walk around the place and see where a piece of art needed to be placed. Then it was about finding the perfect photo in my collection to hang there. Next, I was onto the website to start building the print.

Once you start, it will seem like there is too many options, but it's so easy to use. You choose the size, and within a few minutes you will be done and waiting for your art to show up.

The user interface is a simple design that you can easily get through with no hassle, even if you are not computer savvy a…

Why Upping Your PR Skills Can Help You as a Blogger

When it comes to running a blog, there are a lot of things you need to think about to be a success. Some of them are obvious, like coming up with quality content and marketing yourself well on social media, and yet they can be forgotten by a lot of bloggers. You may have great content but if you don't have good ways of boosting your blog's image, or dealing with the people who engage with you, then you'll be talking into a void. Here is why having good communication and PR skills, and even studying to improve them using something like an online master of communication management degree from the University of Southern California, is so vital for blog owners. You Want to Be a Credible Source of InformationWhen you put content out on the web, you want it to be either entertaining or useful – ideally both. You may work hard on writing good posts or hiring people who can create useful and interesting stuff…
