Synopsis & Book Info:
It's hard enough for us mere mortals. In the rarefied, high-wattage atmosphere of the music world, rock stars Jenna Bradford and Scott Tenny struggle to find love. Two beautiful people living their lives in a fish bowl, where every rumor of happiness or grief becomes grist for the gossip mill, where every public moment is chronicled in close-up by paparazzi armed with cameras. Two human beings grappling with realities present and past as they seek to establish common ground and trust where their love for one another can blossom and grow. Two individuals experiencing the truest love either has ever known. Two giants of the music industry, both industries in their own rights, trying to make a life for themselves that is Beyond Beautiful.

My Opinion:
First of all, when I look at the cover and then read the book, my idea of what they look like is totally different. The cover has two people that look like they're singing folk music, while in my mind I got Sheryl Crow and Steven Tyler. The only thing Steven Tyler on the cover is the scarf tied to the mic.
So I kept reading and put the cover right out of my mind.
I'm glad I did.
As far as romances go, this one had everything I look for. Strong characters, a much anticipated lead into the love affair, and good writing.
This was originally printed in 2006, but don't let that fool you into thinking it's out of date. It's not! I had a lot of fun reading it and look forward to book two; Sweet Emotions. (Another Steven Tyler connection????)
3.5/5
Recommend? Yes to romance fans.
