Moving Is Over Giveaway

For you my wonderful readers I wanna host this giveaway because you all stuck by me through this move. It may have been nothing to you that I didn't post, but it meant something to me to be away from blogging and reading. So for all the people that stayed a number in my list, I thank you. And to all the newcomers, welcome! I am glad you're here and I hope you stick around! We will be good friends one day, you'll see!

Now onto the goodies. I harbor books like nobody's business. I love them! When I die, I will be known as the lady with all those books.... LOL. Point is, I have duplicates, and those I am offering up for giveaway. One book at a time, since I make the hubster pay for it. (U.S. Steel Canada, formerly Steco, may lock us out soon, by the way, so keep my family in your prayers they come to some sort of agreement, or it'll be plastered all over the National News again..... )

Open to Us & Canada, MUST BE A PUBLIC GFC FOLLOWER, if not public-no entry.

A Slice of Organic Life

#Recipe Minestrone Soup

**Recipe and photo owned by Freda's Voice.

1 cup Ditali pasta shells 1/2 large onion, diced 2 tbsp olive oil 1 large garlic clove, minced 2 on-the-vine tomatoes, diced 1 zucchini, diced 3 organic carrots from bunch, diced 2 celery stalks, diced 1/4 head of cabbage, sliced and diced 1 can Cannellini beans, rinsed (white kidney beans) 2 cartons of vegetable stock 1 sprig of thyme 3/4 tbsp salt 1 tsp pepper 2 bay leaves
Heat the oil in a pot on medium-low heat.  Add the onion and garlic, saute until golden. Add tomatoes, stir. Cook 2 minutes. Add zucchini, stir. Cook 1 minute. Add carrots, stir. Cook 1 minute. Add celery, stir. Cook 2 mi…
