My Opinion:
I love this cookbook, and let me assure you it's not just baking. There is all kinds of different dishes to make. I went through the whole recipe book, and was hard-pressed between 2 recipes, the one I chose and Clinton St. Burgers. I'm so glad I chose the cookies, they are a hit, though I aim to still try those burgers!
The cookies were amazing! They tasted more like shortbread to me, and my whole family loved them. When I first said maple walnut, I got lots of grumbling. After they were baked and cooled, my family went nuts and they were devoured in less than 24 hours.
For sure a solid recommendation from me to any household, as long as you can follow instruction, you can cook!
