Each profile is accompanied by diagrams of flight patterns, and photographs showing each featured species in its typical habitat or performing characteristic behaviour. There is a special section highlighting rare species and vagrants as well.

My Opinion:
Being a bird watcher I was keen to get this book and really see how many birds I do notice around my area. I was wowed when I opened the book, and started sifting through the pages. Very detailed description of all kinds of birds. Even a vast majority of birds I have not heard or seen of before. Beautiful photos accompany each page too.
A well put together book, that is for sure.
I recommend this book to all bird enthusiasts, and general knowledge junkies.
