My Opinion:
When I saw the cover of this book, I was intrigued enough to read the synopsis. I knew from that it would be a decent story, but I had no idea the emotions it would stir in me.
When a book can bring a tear to your eye, it must be great! The author must be conveying the story in a way that you feel it and connect with it. I really did with this book.
I sincerely hope the author considers a second book. I would love to know what happened to the characters, after the war.
This is definitely on my recommendation list!

Great review. I love books that make me cry. Though it usually takes me time to work up the nerve.
ReplyDeleteI was worried about the three novella, three points of view idea. I'm glad you liked it though.
