Songbird Under a German Moon - Tricia Goyer (BLOG TOUR & LINK TO CONTEST)

Synopsis:
The year is 1945. The war is over and 21-year-old Betty Lake has been invited to Europe to sing in a USO tour for American soldiers who now occupy Hitler's Germany. The first nights performance is a hit. Betty becomes enthralled with the applause, the former Nazi-held mansion they're housed in and the attention of Frank Witt, the US Army Signal Corp Photographer. Yet the next night this songbird is ready to fly the coop when Betty's dear friend, Kat, turns up missing. Betty soon realizes Franks photographs could be the key to finding Kat. Betty and Frank team up against post-war Nazi influences and the two lovebirds' hearts may find the answers...in each other.
But will they have a chance for their romance to sing? The truth will be revealed under a German moon.

My Opinion:
After reading All Things Hidden, I couldn't wait to read this book. Plus the cover is absolutely divine! All the makings of a great time to me. Unfortunately, it was just okay.
Tricia is such a lovely writer, the flow of the words makes the books so easy to read. But this time I was not pulled in as much as before. Maybe it was the jump from Amish life to War Era, but I couldn't get into it.
The characters were great, Betty is the main character and a singer, but Frank is the one who I enjoy reading about. Her love interest. Big, strong, tough guy that is sensitive too. Every girl's dream!
I'm sure a lot of women would enjoy this book, romance junkies that is.

  3. The cover is gorgeous, but I just love the title. I do enjoy a good romance occasionally, but the war era is not usually my thing.

REVIEW:
I sorta hated the beginning.
Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see.
It doesn't take long to get light though.
Thankfully.
Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too.
Sydney is badass and shows it throughout. Can you imagine what it would be like if everyone thought you were o…

REVIEW: I loved the whole series, but especially loved this season as it wrapped it all up.  There were a couple of moments that were so incredibly tragic, but also a couple moments where the most tragic things couldn't have happened to better people. Take Sussy for example. God, how I hated that woman through the whole show and couldn't wait for her to get what was coming to her. Did she get it here? You have to watch and see! This is the season where you will sit on the edge of your seat, waiting to see who will win the kingdom. Does your favorite character prevail above the others? MIne d…

REVIEW: Boyfriend overload!!
The Rock, Jason Stathom and Ryan Reynolds in one film. Oh, my!
It was a great story, had tons of action and kick-ass moments. It was comical at times too. Everything I hoped for in this movie was there.
Just make sure you keep watching after the credits. It doesn't end when you think it does.
Watched with the hubby and he is a big fan. His exact words were, 'it was awesome'.
