Synopsis:
Marriage is dead. Our Gold Digger Nation killed it. If you or someone you know and care about is even remotely thinking of getting married, read this book.
Part 1 of Gold Digger Nation, tells the story of a common cohabitation/marriage in today's environment. It recalls the story of a successful and well to do "dupe" and a younger and very appealing gold digger.
Part 2 deals with the legal, and emotional implications of living in a Gold Digger Nation in the new millennium. Marriage in our Gold Digger Nation has a secret that you're not supposed to know about until it's too late, but it's revealed in this book.
The subject matter and information inside is just as important to pass on as the birds and the bees.
Gold Digger Nation has got people talking. It is the new "go to" book for the no marriage movement.

My Opinion:
I love reading books, where you have to keep an open mind. You can see by the cover and title, this is one of them.
This story was really just another guy got run through the ringer. Most of us have been in this place before, feeling jilted and used by the one you love. Especially if we have been through a divorce. You can't help but have a "gold-digger" feeling. I appreciate that aspect of the story.
What I don't agree with, is the author generalizing all relationships and marriages in today's society to be this way. I believe, and live my life, with love for the relationships I have built. I do think people take relationships for granted more now than in previous history, but not everyone. Some of us still carry traditional values, and live to those standards.
Despite this being one man's rant about getting heart broke, it is a good story. My recommendation is that you grab a copy, read Part One, and don't worry about Part Two.

Interesting. I think I will pass on this book. It sounds like they are trying to make the book out to be more than it actually is. You wrote a good review, though. Thanks for your honest assessment.
