Synopsis:
A dastardly villain plots to steal the armor of God.
The Commandant of Confusion and his side kick, Chaos, interrupt the Bible Adventure Training Academy and steal the Bible Team’s secret weapon, which helps them put on the full armor of God “anytime, anyplace.” There is a warning label on the secret weapon that reads in part, “this device contains the most powerful weapon known to man, follow instructions closely to prevent severe harm.” Will the Commandant heed the warning? Will the Bible Adventure Team recover it?
Scripture lesson: “God is not a God of confusion but a God of peace.” 1 Corinthians 14:33 (ICB)

My Opinion:
When I read the front of the dvd, it says. "An action-packed dramatic adventure based on God's word". Who wouldn't find that interesting?! I read the bible everyday, and enjoy it, but this is about getting your kids to enjoy it. For me, this dvd really fell flat and missed the mark by a long shot.
It was filmed on a stage, much like Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in costume, but like Sharon, Lois and Bram in set. It was almost as if the evangelical minister was preaching in costume instead of suit. That's what I felt watching it. If Jimmy Swaggart had a son who dressed like a Power Ranger, boringly reciting parts of the bible. It was really that bad for me. This dvd did not challenge my faith or enlighten it in any way.
Personally I would much rather my children stick to Sesame Street or Barney. I appreciated the Christian content, just not in the way it was given.
Not going to be recommended by me.
