My Teaser:

In the book of Proverbs we read: "The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, but the Lord tests the heart" (17:3). Both the crucible and the furnace are unpleasant prospects.

HUm - That is confusing but a good teaser - makes me want to read the book just to understand better what is being theorized about.

ReplyDeleteI like that...it's the perfect illustration of one of those old church sayings, "Nobody said that the Christian life was easy..." The title of the book definitely piqued my curiosity. I'll have to check it out. Great teaser!
