My Take on the book selection:
So you must have guessed from the Jack Kilborn book, that I love murder mysteries. And yes, that's what this book was. However I wasn't a big fan of it.
The book had such a slow start, and I felt the author is way too descriptive when writing. He never did "capture" me, and pull me into the story. It fell flat for me.
I liked the characters, but didn't like the way the author wrote the dialogue. He used so much slang while writing, it just wasn't necessary to give the reader the right impression or atmosphere.
Overall, not something I would tell friends about. Not a recommendation from me.
