Full Description:
Shot in the head by an unknown assailant, San Francisco private eye Sharon McCone finds herself trapped by locked-in syndrome: almost total paralysis but an alert, conscious mind. Since the late-night attack occurred at her agency's offices, the natural conclusion was that it was connected to one of the firm's cases. As Sharon lies in her hospital bed, furiously trying to break out of her body's prison and discover her attacker's identity, all the members of her agency fan out to find the reason why she was assaulted.

My Take on the Book:
Great book!!! I might as well out it out there right away! I was on the edge of my seat, reading along, trying to answer the riddles myself. I had to keep reading until I knew everything. I just had the hardest time putting the book down. Plus I had to keep an eye to Shar, probably the main character, and her status.
I also loved the way it was written. By so many different perspectives. I enjoyed the colorful bunch of characters, and even some not-so-much. But the emotions for them all were real, which made for a great read!
Overall, it's a book I would definitely take home to Mom!! Put it on your list folks!! It's worth it!

This looks like an interesting book. I'll put it on my list.
ReplyDeleteSounds good. I hate the idea of being "locked in" though.
