My take on the book selection;
I was utterly captivated from the first story. There were so many I could connect with, and in so many different situations. I had an array of emotions, but mostly compassion. The stories I couldn't connect to, I felt I learned from. Example; I love the term "staycation." When low on funds, and needing a break, tour things in your city, such as National parks, or a museum. You'd be surprised how uplifting it can make you, and you don't have to leave home. Where most vacations are costly, and far from home. I recommend you read the book, you may be as moved as I am.

  1. My husband and I have had a couple "staycations" but we never thought to call them that at the time. My co-worker did recently though and it sounded so fun, lol! I love the Chicken Soup for the Soul Books!
